Dynamic relationship

My friends, I pray that all of us will have a 'dynamic relationship' with God.
In fact this is a very important component of our walk with him.
What i mean by 'dynamic relationship' is a 2 way relationship that is Alive.
If you believe that our GOD is alive, then is our relationship with him Alive too?
It will be dead boring if you just do your quiet time everyday, go for G-12 meeting every week and service BUT fail to see the LIVING GOD work in your life.

A 'Dynamic relationship' consist of
1. a 2-way communication between you and GOD
2. GOD's constant work in your life. (e.g answered prayers, moulding works)

Let me give you an example.
My application for last week's sermon was that I will be able to live out the word of GOD
so that i will not know it as head textbook knowledge, but i believe in it because i live it out.
In my previous post yesterday, i talked about 'the urgency'

This morning at 4am, i was awaken by my sister who had her contact lens stuck in her eyes
and it swelled real badly. Tired and 'Seh' i drove her to A&E to have her examined. It cost me $62 for a 5 minute treatment!!!! (Beats my chest and shaves my head)

At first, I was contemplating whether or not to send her for medical attention right away
or to just wait until the first clinic starts opening.
But i felt the 'urgency' to show LOVE to my sister.
She's far away from GOD, and i want to bring her back.
So this was the end result.
When treatment was over she said 'Xie Xie Ni, dui bu qi.'
And i replied ' You owe me one, and you'll repay me in June, come to my tribe camp.'
'Are you serious?' she asked.'
Do I look like I'm joking at this hour?'
Oh ok....- Dora Sham

Yes, this is I meant by dynamic relationship
GOD inspired reflection on 'urgency'---> desire to live out the word - - -> God given opportunity to apply at 4am in the morning. (God is moving)

Still stagnant water is dead, but moving clear water signifies life.

Proud of you for showing love to your sister even when it was inconvenient! Continue to ask God for opportunities to do so, so that God's love can be made real to her through you. :)

And perhaps, the next time, you can add this sentence to her too when she says thank you - "It's alright. You are family. I'm committed to love you. And you have to come for my tribe camp." Heh.
