I went for lunch with Joshua Chong today.
While i was parking, 'Kaaaaaakaaa' goes the sound.
Joshua Chong (Hailer) looked from the outside and exclaimed 'OH NO!!!!'
There was a long pink mark on my car.
Counting, this was the 5th time i buang my car while parking in my 3 years of experience.
Fear gripped me for a moment, i knew that my mother will manslaughter me if she finds out.
A few days back, she just commented on my parking saying it was too close to the wall and that I better change my angle next time before i buang. The cheeky me replied 'I power Zai what, can catch the tight angle'
I'm DEAD this time..
I was so desperate that I called the workshop to check if it can be re-painted by today. They said it was impossible and so I went to touch the 'accident area' I feel no major scratches, just paint stuck to the car.
Feeling a sense of Hope, Joshua Chong and I went to hunt for 'turpentine' to save the day. But i have no idea where. At the junction between ang mo kio and thomson, i had to make a choice which way to turn. Joshua Chong said Thomson, but the stubborn me turned into AMK.
Thank GOD I found turpentine in AMK! Before Joshua Chong start to rub the paint off with the turpentine He say 'Angus you better start praying first.' And I did... The next moment, I saw the original colour of my car coming back as the paint dissolves in the turpentine. I was overjoyed!!!
Just while i was jumping for joy in my heart, A Black Mercedes Benz parked beside me. Out came a 'high class women.' She looked at us with the bottle of turpentine. She gave us the look as if she was worried that we're trying to set the car ablaze with kerosene. Then she opened the mouth 'You mean this thing can rub away scratch paints ah?'
And we said 'Yes, I just buang my car and now it looks as if nothing has happened.'
'Then can you help me try?' HAhahahaa... GOD is humerous yah? Her front portion was stained with purple paint in an accident with a BUS recently!
And Joshua Chong blessed her by helping her rubbed off the paint! We chatted for a while and as we part she said 'Thank you very much.' So we replied, 'It was GOD who orchastrated the coincidence.'
Although no proper follow up was done, I felt good that in small ways like that, I can glory his name. I was joking with Hailer 'So GOD made me scatch my car for this lah?'
I saw GOD's lesson in 2 pts.
1. Better be obedient to my mother and not jeering at her remarks
2. I saw GOD taking into consideration of the details of coincidence. I stress what i believe again. Coincidence is not coincidence but GOD's master plan. If you consider yourself as a child of GOD, there's no such thing as accident or coincidence.
