Want to be a Pro? Read Proverbs

TISCHBEIN, Johann Friedrich August
German painter (b. 1750, Maastricht, d. 1812, Heidelberg)
Someone in the world owns this picture! The man painted is King Solomon.

Its hard to imagine that the words im reading now was written by King Solomon. The man himself. The man of wisdom. Probably the wisest man has ever seen.

I want to be wise. Wise in the way i live my life.
Therefore: My application for Job 23:12 is that i will read Proverbs again and again and again until God leads me otherwise.

So my devotions will be all from this Wise Book:

"A man who remains stiff-necked after many rebukes will suddenly be destroyed - without remedy" Proverbs 29:1

After completing proverbs once, there are a few statements or key ideas that are being pointed out. And able to be rebuked is one of them. It shows a heart of humility and a spirit of wanting to change for the better. esp if it is regarding our many wrong doings.

So the next time we are rebuked, be humble and seek God for deep truths to surface.
God loves you! hates the pride.
