Children of God

Yesterday, I had a chance to meet Nicholas, Wei Peng and Jeremiah for our first 'G-12 meeting.' It was a blessed meeting for us!
I met them at city hall bras basah and brought them down our 'memory lane'
The 'void deck' on 6th storey of Bras Basah complex if you still remember where it is.
Together, we did a bible dissection on Matt18:2-5
The disciples asked Jesus, 'Which of us is greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven?'

We looked into the word greatest= who pleases GOD most,
what kind of person does GOD approves most

Together, we brainstormed a list of reasons why GOD specifically singled out the characteristic of children and why they are the kind of people that seek GOD's approval.

1. Sincerity- Children are true to their feelings and not hypocretical in speech and actions
2. Longing for the father- Children feel safe and secure in the arms of their parents and
would even cry when they are taken away. But as we grow older, sometimes we would even
rather hang out with friends then our parents! God wants us to lie in his everlasting arms, to
be longing for him.
3. Faith- Children do not rationalize, they simply believe. As we grow older, we think, we
process, we question and rationalize by logic. 'The more we learn, the less we know.'
