The Passion of the Christ

I was on the bus thinking about some issues when GOD revealed
something that BLEW me away.

I was thinking of which path i should take in the near future.
Should I become a teacher? or go into the music industry?
I was counting the costs, rationalizing, brainstorming the problems and things.
Like if I go into music, should i quit school now to practice because I'm not good enough as yet?
Will i still go into teaching if M.O.E don't sponsor me?

So i was rationalizing and it came a point where by i said
'God i wanna stop rationalizing and just trust you, wherever you direct, i'll go, but please
tell me please please please where?'

So I thought about fasting over the next 3 days and thought about Jesus as the
role model since he went through that.

Thinking about Jesus Christ as a role model led me to think about his life.
His life is dead SAD.
The bible describe him as a man acquainted with sorrow and suffering
Meaning, 1. No Joy
2. No Fun but PAIN
Pause and think about some of the sad things he went through.

1. He was stoned often
2. Mocked and laughed at like an idiot
3. Got betrayed by his own disciples! (How shiok!)
4. Tortured, whipped and nailed on the cross.

I believe much more painful events happened to him.

Do you still want to be like Jesus?
Getting stoned, mocked at, betrayed?
Many of us say 'I want to be like Jesus!'
Then i ask myself, 'Do i want to lead that kind of sad life?' 'NO WAY!' I thought.
Then I ask myself that question,
'Since his life is so sucks, so sad, so painful and he could feel like a human being, why did
he carry on and not give up?'

I could only think of 2 reasons

1. He love the father.
2. He knows what he was on earth for.

This 2 reasons surpasses all the emotional, physical torment and torture.
His mind was set and life focus on 1 and 2.

1.Jesus loved the father so much that even if it cost pain, suffering, death
he was willing to submit.

2. He knew he was on earth for the agenda of reconciling man to GOD.
That was the goal and purpose he was looking forward to.

The greatest fruit and joy that spurred him on.
Is to see you, _________ (your name here) able to come into the arms of GOD again.
He died so that you may live.

Sometimes we might know what GOD has made us for.
As in you know where GOD wants you to go, and his plans for you.
But we might not love GOD enough to execute it.
For example, if GOD for now has pathed the way for you to devote your life in
finding your 12, are you willing to
sacrifice
1. the time with your friends
2. leisure time
3. own agendas?

My friends, if GOD summons you today to

give up your big business dreams with big money
give up your dream of being an MP
artist dream
music dream
worship leader dream

and be a worker at mac donald to paste sticker on burgers,

Will you love him enough and trust him enough to do that instead of always
taking things into your own rationalizaion and planning your own backdoors?

We all have dreams and aspirations, wants and goals.
What if GOD today summons you to get out of your comfortable dream path and
do something totally ridiculous?
Will you love him enough to do that?

Was it painful for Jesus? yes
But the joy of seeing you able to break free from sin and dancing in freedom
surpasses all that pain.

If GOD calls you today,

- Clear away all rationality
- Stop doing your cost benefit analysis

If you Love God enough, you will know what to do.

As you submit, even if it might be a sucky route. Believe
that the joy you receive will surpass all the pain, all the blood and sweat just like Jesus.

I now understand why the greatest commandment is this
'Love the Lord your GOD with all your heart and with all your soul, and with all your mind and all your strength.'

When you really really love God.
There's no need for any more words to be spoken.
You will know in your heart what to do.

My friends, if you find it hard.
Fall in love with Jesus once again.
Fall in love with him today, tomorrow everyday.
