I'LL BE YOUR WINTER COAT BUTTONED AND ZIPPED STRAIGHT TO THE THROAT WITH THE COLLAR UP SO YOU WON'T CATCH A COLD

theTHIRDofmaytwoohohseven

" My dove in the clefts of the rock, in the hiding places on the mountainside, show me your face, let me hear your voice; for your voice is sweet, and your face is lovely. " - Song of Songs 2:14

sometimes i wonder why this chapter is in the Bible.

if we desire so for a partner of the opposite sex,
how much more should we desire God?

are we preoccupied with worldy things?
or are we truly interested in God?

how will my future partner be like?
how does God intend my love life to be like?

God intends for relationships to be enjoyed, in a Godly light, of course.

true love can only be found in God.
surrender our relationships to God.

Song of Songs is a very interesting book. So much insight into who we are and what we are meant to be when our relationships are not broken. It shows that God does not ignore the fact that this part of our marriage relationships is "God wired", He is the Creator. It is very good in the paraphrase "The Message".

Thanks for having this page open to the world. It is wonderful to hear the heart beat of other followers of Jesus around the world.
