Ephesians 4
1As a prisoner for the Lord, then, I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received.
Why does he put in 'As a prisoner for the Lord'? It tell us the position he is in. And then, he goes on to urging us to live a life worthy of the calling... It goes to say, despite his situation, he is still encouraging us to life a life worthy of call. And thus it also implies that it is for the work of God, he is in as a prisoner.
Have I received any calling from the Lord?
May I seek it during the season. For, I need a confirmation on what I heard from you, Lord...
