" But my mouth would encourage you; comfort from my lips would bring you relief. " - Job 16:5

Job was a Godly man.
we could all learn a little from Job.

DOES our mouth encourage others?
DO our words bring comfort and relief?

may our words be used to build others up.
even as we face troublesome people, difficult situations, or defiant mentees,
may we learn to disciple them in an encouraging way.

how easy it is to let loose the tongue for a bout of 'holy rebuke'.
CAN we, instead, learn to encourage, to comfort, to relieve?

no one likes a scolding.
no wonder our sheep run away so easily. or refuse to reply our calls.
what when the first thing that comes out of our mouths would be a scolding?

encourage. comfort. relieve.
