ever felt small or worthless or useless or goodfornothing?
i have.
sometimes i feel like i am not skilled at anything in particular.
im good at most stuff but not exceptional.
like a jack of all trades but a master of none.
like, what skills do i have to impart to others?
but joy to the world, for the Lord uses the simple to confound the wise.
he uses the small so that we may not boast in our strength but bring glory to the Lord.
blessed are the weak, the meek, the ordinary, the plain.
for they make mighty vessels for the Lord.
i have learnt and am still learning that my significance lies not within myself but wholly in the Lord.
so what, if u:
are intelligent.
are rich.
are good-looking.
are talented.
are famous.
are successful.
if u are all of the above but do not know God, u have missed the point.
on the other hand, if we know God then all of the above are not too far away at all.
for it is to the Lord's glory.
APPLICATION: i will be a God-chaser, not a worldysuccess-chaser. i know the former is worth much more than the latter. and i know the former also promises the latter. this is affirmation number three. i am not a lowly engineer. i am a Child of God.
Lord, thank you for your encouraging reminder. i know that u love me. i know that i am blessed beyond what i deserve. i know that my significance lies in you. without you i am nothing. may i know you more. and may all that i am bring glory to you.

You are certainly far from insignificant! You are smart, intelligent, creative and spontaneous. That makes you a great candidate for... ermmm...ARCHITECTURE! Ha ha. If you ever do consider doing it lor.
You have been a great blessing the fast few months. In ways you might not even know you have been. I'm sure Uni is going to be a wonderful time of discovering the many talents that you God has given you. :) And yes, who said engineer's aren't creative people?? You will make one funky and extraordinary engineer! If that's what you want.
If not, seriously, I do think you have what it takes to be a really brilliant teacher. I see the heart, the passion and the influence! My my... I think we are all going to be teachers! What say you, KS? Any word from God? Ha ha.
