^ Light of the world

Matthew 5:14"You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. 15Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. 16In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.

Yes, I am involved in volunteer work at an event called AMMY. Volunteer work isn't it considered Good works/deeds? Good works, Yes! But alot of people (non-Christians) are also doing it together with me. They may not end up giving all the glory and praise to the Father. Therefore it is not only enough to see your Good works/deeds but also praise my(our) Father in heaven.

Are we in alot of occasions doing good works? But the question is Who are the others praising? Him or You? Moving into visibility from viability...

In that light, sharing of testimony... 2 pointers, I've learnt..
1. You must not be afraid of letting your light shine. -No fear!
2. You must discern every occasion.- You must be sensitive!
