^ God is LIGHT

1 John 1
The Word of Life 1That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked at and our hands have touched—this we proclaim concerning the Word of life. 2The life appeared; we have seen it and testify to it, and we proclaim to you the eternal life, which was with the Father and has appeared to us. 3We proclaim to you what we have seen and heard, so that you also may have fellowship with us. And our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son, Jesus Christ. 4We write this to make our joy complete.

5This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all. 6If we claim to have fellowship with him yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live by the truth. 7But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin.
8If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. 9If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. 10If we claim we have not sinned, we make him out to be a liar and his word has no place in our lives.

John 3
17For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. 18Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God's one and only Son. 19This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but men loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. 20Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that his deeds will be exposed. 21But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what he has done has been done through God."


Well i'm reminded about these 3things when i read both the passages.

Through,
Word of LIFE - Son of God.
It is only through Him we can live.

Always,
God is LIGHT- God e Father is Faithful.
We have to go to Him so that we can live.

Therefore,
Live by the TRUTH- Fellowship with God e Holy Spirit.
We must live with Him to live.

Am I living with God or am I living in my own world.... In my own world, I can be living in my own trapped earthly desires and temptations! But No, No more. Thanks be to God who ripped me from the wages of sin (death) into the fellowship with God. I'm no more a SLAVE TO SIN but a SON OF GOD. I must go into the Light. I must be in the truth. "Set me free, Lord!" - my prayer.
