our Lord is with us, and
our Lord is mighty to save.
do we believe it?
do we live like we believe it?
then WHY,
why are we not rejoicing?
why are we living in defeat?
why are we not excited about God?
why are we not faithful in doing our devotions?
the following Scripture describes to us a God who
DELIGHTS in us,
LOVES us, and
REJOICES over us.
instead of always picturing God as one who is forever fierce and angry with us when we disobey him,
conversely, why not picture God as one who is always rejoicing when we do obey him?
cuz that's how he is!
don't paint an incomplete picture of God!
CAN u imagine,
everytime we choose not to sin, angels applaude?
everytime we choose to obey a word, heaven resounds with praise?
everytime we do our devotion, God smiles down at us in delight?
not just an angry God,
but a God who REJOICES OVER US!
THIS IS A CHALLENGE:
will u do ur DEVOTION today?
and put a smile on God's face.
and put a dance in his step.
