OOH EE OOH AH AH TING TANG WALA WALA BING BANG

FIFTHapriltwoohohseven

last night i broke fast.
with this, on the right.
yum yum.
sumptuous.
filling.
$7.
bedok simpang.

this morning i am led to,
" "This is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says: 'Like these good figs, I regard as good the exiles from Judah, whom I sent away from this place to the land of the Babylonians.'" " - Jeremiah 24:5

exile. isn't that a bad thing?
well, it seems, not necessarily so.
with God, all things can be good.

God sent them away. on his way.
via a means that might sound horrible. terrible. *cue Ps Seng Lee's voice - "..terrible"
but God regarded as good the exiles from Judah.
lesson learnt: God's ways are not man's ways.

if God sent me somewhere on a circumstance that would seemingly be bad, would i still go?
would i have the courage? the faith? the trust? to believe?

even if the bad circumstance were not a result of God's intention,
God will still turn it around for good.
think Joseph being sold as a slave and yet bringing about greater glory in future.
lesson learnt: Lean not on my own understanding, but in all things, trust God.

brothers,
have we faced bad circumstances before?
kenah rejected from pursuing a certain school/course?
kenah kicked out of a certain competition?
kenah rejected from certain interviews?
sounds familiar?
take heart. and trust in God's ways.
cuz if we are in sync with God, and truly want to do his will instead of our own,
then sometimes his ways leave us perplexed.
but God considers us as good. figs. sort of.
so take heart.

for me,
this is assurance number two regarding my choice of course.
his ways may not be what the world would have liked my way to have been.
ok there i go talking in riddles again. but ya.

application time: hmm, how to have application for this, ah? er, just stick to my course?
