today is Good Friday.
and last night was spent sleeping over at Angus'.

after which, we had an action-packed Good Friday event.
praise God for the 4 salvations!

that morning the Holy Spirit gave me,

" But the Scripture declares that the whole world is a prisoner of sin, so that what was promised, being given through faith in Jesus Christ, might be given to those who believe. Before this faith came, we were held prisoners by the law, locked up until faith should be revealed. " - Galatians 3:22-23

sounds familiar?
it sounds like the gist of our skit we enacted.
hmm,
BUT notice we were not prisoners of satan, but
RATHER we were prisoners of sin,
AND held prisoner by the law.

satan is
the tempter.
the deceiver.
the doubt-causer.
BUT he cannot imprison us. he has no power to.

because Jesus has already WON mr. s. a. tan!
so satan can only use deception to trick us into imprisonment.
some of his strategies include thoughts like:
"aiya, i always cannot make it la.."
"we can never be holy, try so hard for what.."
"one more time nvm one.."
"what's the big deal, everyone sins.."
endless.

we CREATE the prison ourselves.

we were NEVER prisoners of satan.
we BELONG to Jesus.
but we were prisoners to SIN. it controlled us.
we were imprisoned by the LAW. it warranted our death.
BUT NOT ANY MORE.

because two-thousand-and-seven years ago Jesus died on the cross and rose again breaking the power of those steel bars that was our prison!
we have been freed two-thousand-and-seven years ago!
so don't live in our own prison.
don't think satan any more powerful than he actually is.
he cannot imprison us cuz Jesus has freed us already.
so we can say to satan,
"neh neh nee boo boo.."

FREEDOM!
hurrah for Jesus.

APPLICASHUN: BELIEVE that i am free! satan has no power to cause me to sin! i won't buy his deception! no more! i am free! freedom! holiness!
